The Thing - The Thing Poster Series 7" Scale Action Figure

The paintwork on this one captures that classic Drew Struzan poster vibe perfectly, and the sculpt has a nice weight to it that makes it feel solid on the shelf. I was a little worried about the joints being stiff, but they move smoothly right out of the box.

The box alone is worth displaying, but the figure itself nails that frozen, desperate vibe from the poster. I love that the sculpt captures Struzan's painted look without needing the backdrop, and it stands perfectly on my shelf next to the other horror icons.

The poster-style packaging alone is worth displaying, but the figure itself captures that Struzan artwork energy perfectly—the sculpted details match the painted shadows in a way that feels like it jumped off the poster. Even the box art got me hyped all over again for that classic scene.
