The unmasked face on this one is genuinely unsettling in the best way, way grosser than the earlier Jasons on my shelf. Pose holds fine after a couple weeks of fiddling with the joints. Pre-ordering was worth the wait.

The head sculpt on this Part 9 Jason is easily the nastiest in my whole collection, exactly like the game model. Poseability is solid too, I got him into a decent stalking stance without the joints feeling loose.

He’s properly grotesque, exactly what I wanted from this version of Jason—the rotting skin and exposed ribs look even better in person. The articulation is solid enough for some menacing poses without feeling fragile. Pre-order wait was long, but the final figure was worth it.
