How to Pre-Order NECA Figures: A Step-by-Step Guide for 2026 Exclusives

Pre-ordering NECA figures is the best way to guarantee you get your hands on the hottest collectibles, especially when it comes to 2026 con exclusives. Whether you're hunting for the latest horror icon or a classic superhero, pre-orders sell out fast. This guide will walk you through the entire process, from finding the right retailer to ensuring your payment goes through smoothly.

NECA's pre-order system is straightforward, but there are nuances that can make or break your purchase. With exclusive items like the IT: Welcome to Derry - Ultimate Bob Gray as Pennywise 7" Scale Action Figure or the Batman (1966 TV) – Prop Replica – Batman’s Batarang, you need to act quickly. Let's dive into the steps to secure your next favorite piece.

Understand the Pre-Order Window

Pre-orders for NECA figures typically open months before the release date. For 2026 con exclusives, the window can be even shorter, often coinciding with major events like San Diego Comic-Con or New York Comic Con. Keep an eye on NECA's official social media channels and newsletter to get alerts the moment pre-orders go live.

Some pre-orders are announced with a specific time and date, while others drop without warning. Being prepared is key. Create accounts on your favorite retailers in advance, save your payment information, and set reminders. This way, you can check out quickly when the pre-order goes live.

• Follow NECA on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for announcements.
• Sign up for NECA's email newsletter to get pre-order alerts.
• Set calendar reminders for known pre-order dates.

Choose the Right Retailer

NECA figures are available through various retailers, including big-box stores, specialty shops, and online marketplaces. For 2026 con exclusives, NECA's own online store is often the primary source, but other retailers like Amazon, BigBadToyStore, and Entertainment Earth may also carry them.

Each retailer has its own pre-order policies. Some require a non-refundable deposit, while others charge at the time of shipment. Read the fine print before committing. Also, consider shipping costs and estimated delivery dates. Sometimes paying a little more for shipping is worth it to get your figure sooner.

• Compare prices and shipping costs across multiple retailers.
• Check retailer return policies for pre-orders.
• Read customer reviews for reliability.

Set Up Your Account and Payment

Before the pre-order goes live, create accounts on the retailers you plan to use. Save your shipping address and payment method to speed up the checkout process. Some retailers offer one-click checkout, which can be a lifesaver when items sell out in minutes.

For high-demand items like the Friday the 13th: The Game - Part 9 Jason 7" Scale Action Figure (PRE-ORDER), every second counts. Make sure your credit card information is up to date and that you have sufficient funds. If you're using a debit card, check that your bank doesn't block large transactions.

• Use a credit card for buyer protection.
• Enable two-factor authentication for security.
• Test your account login before the pre-order date.

Monitor the Pre-Order Launch

On the day of the pre-order, be online a few minutes early. Refresh the product page frequently. Some retailers place items in your cart for a limited time, so be ready to complete your purchase immediately.

If the item sells out quickly, don't panic. Sometimes retailers restock or offer additional pre-order waves. Join collector communities and forums to get real-time updates. You might also find pre-orders from third-party sellers, but be cautious of price gouging.

• Use multiple devices to increase your chances.
• Keep the product page open in multiple tabs.
• Join NECA collector groups on Facebook or Reddit.

Confirm Your Order and Track Shipping

After completing your pre-order, you'll receive a confirmation email. Review it to ensure all details are correct. Save this email for reference. Some retailers allow you to manage your pre-order online, including updating shipping address or payment method.

When the release date approaches, you'll get a shipping notification with a tracking number. Monitor the tracking to ensure your package arrives safely. If there are any issues, contact customer support promptly. For exclusive items like the Child's Play 3 - Ultimate Surf's Up Chucky 7" Scale Action Figure (2025 Con Exclusive) (PRE-ORDER), you'll want to be home to receive it.

• Keep your order confirmation number handy.
• Track your package using the provided number.
• Contact support immediately if there are delays.
